Kamloops Mounties release suspect photos following brazen daylight bank robbery

Man sought in bank holdup

Police have released photos of a suspect in a brazen daylight bank robbery Tuesday in Sahali.

The Canadian Western Bank on Summit Drive was robbed at about 2:30 p.m. Police believe a man with a gun entered the bank and demanded cash, brandishing a handgun. He left on foot with money in his hands.

The suspect is described as a man with fair skin in his 40s or 50s standing five-foot-10 and weighing 190 pounds. He was wearing a black toque, a faded dark jacket, blue jeans, brown shoes and a navy blue COVID-19 mask.
