Kamloops public gives their take on Air Canada's flight suspension

Castanet Kamloops asked travellers at Kamloops Airport and locals in the downtown area about their thoughts on Air Canada's recent decision to suspend passenger flights indefinitely to the city.

Some mentioned the negative impact this decision may have on the airport and airline jobs, while others voiced concern about the overall economic impact for the city.

"I'm hoping they can restore the service when the pandemic is over, as Kamloops is an important hub in B.C., and we need air travel," one respondent said.
