COVID at Barriere school

Students at a Kamloops-area high school could have been exposed to COVID-19 over three days last week.

Interior Health is reporting a COVID-19 exposure at Barriere secondary school on Jan. 4, Jan. 5 and Jan. 8.

As of Monday, Barriere secondary is the only SD73 school on Interior Health’s school exposure list.

Also on the list are three schools in the Kelowna area, two in Vernon and one each in Pentiction, Golden, 100 Mile House and Williams Lake.

If students have not been asked to self-isolate, they are allowed to attend school as usual.
