Employees of The Shoe Company are dealing with plenty of smashed glass right now after an SUV came through the store's front window this morning.
Around 11:40 a.m. a dark grey Kia Sorrento went grill-first into The Shoe Company (formerly the Shoe Warehouse) at 500 Notre Dame Dr. in the Columbia Place Shopping Centre.
Kamloops Fire Rescue and RCMP responded to the scene, but no injuries were reported. The SUV has some front-end damage and the storefront has significant damage.
The front window remains cordoned off at this time and police are on scene getting statements from witnesses.
