'Thank you': Kamloops woman wins 2020 Y Dream Home

Nicole Larson gets the keys from Bryce Herman.

Ticket #14181 was the lucky winner in today's Y Dream Home lottery draw. 

That ticket belonged to Nicole Larson. This year's top prize was a house in Orchards Walk. (You can check out a virtual tour below).

Lottery organizer Bryce Herman called Larson this morning to share the good news.

"Do you remember purchasing a ticket in this year's Y Dream Home Lottery?" Herman asks Larson.

"I do," she responds.

"You know who I am?" Herman says.

"I do," Larson says.

"Well, I'm calling to let you know that you've just won this year's Y Dream Home Lottery and you're now the proud owner of a beautiful home in Orchards Walk."

Larson's response? "Freakin' joking?" and later, "thank you."

Castanet has reached out to Larson for an interview and is waiting to hear back.

The winner of the 50/50 prize, worth $198,842, was Romans Manyiel. 

A host of other winners were also announced, including:

• Karl Miller: $5,000 gift card to Save-On-Foods
