Field of Screams in Kamloops has been delayed by two days

Kamloops residents will have to wait a little longer to get their scare on.

The Field of Screams was set to open at Sunset Valley Farms Wednesday, but Mother Nature had different plans.

Organizers said a recent windstorm damaged some of the sets, forcing the cancellation of the event Wednesday and Thursday.

A full refund will be issued to anyone who already purchased tickets.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, Field of Screams Kamloops will be held Oct. 11-12, 16-19, 23-26, 30-31 as planned.

The theme for this years Kamloops location is Carnival Freakshow.

For those who are deathly afraid of clowns and scary carnivals, this event is not for you.

Broken ride carnage, a haunted opera house, a life-sized Jack-in-the-box, spooky carnival tents and so much more will be on display.

Field of Screams has been haunting Vernon residents since 2013. From it's conception, it has been one of the most terrifying haunted corn mazes in Canada.

Field of Screams includes intricate sets, trained actors, superior sound design and scare tactics that play with your every sense.
