Power outage halts concert

Falling trees took out power lines in the Shuswap Sunday afternoon, halting the 10th Annual Retro Concert Weekend show at Sun Peaks Resort northeast of Kamloops.

The outages affect more than 2,000 customers near Kamloops and Salmon Arm, according to the BC Hydro outages map.

While crews have been assigned to the Kamloops-area outage, they are not expected on site at the Salmon Arm incident until 3:30 p.m.
