Kamloops RCMP are investigating after a male pedestrian was struck while walking in a crosswalk Thursday morning.
The incident happened this morning at 6:30 a.m. on Columbia Street, police tell Castanet "that a male pedestrian was walking south in a crosswalk in the 300 block of Columbia St when a vehicle that was turning west struck him."
Fortunately, the pedestrian only received minor injuries and was taken to a Kamloops medical facility to be assessed. The driver remained on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
