Robbed at knife point

Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect.

On March 4 at 2 a.m., a man entered the 7-11 on Summit Drive brandishing a knife.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie said the suspect had the clerk open the cash register, taking what was inside before fleeing westbound on foot.

The clerk was not injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, wearing a brown jacket, red shirt, blue jeans, a black and white bandana, black gloves and running shoes.

“This 7-11 store was previously robbed on Jan. 8. At this time there is no evidence linking this suspect to the previous robbery or to any of the any other robberies that have occurred over the past month,” said Shelkie.

If you have any information about this robbery, contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or, to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
