It was wine lover's paradise at Sun Peaks Resort over the weekend as more than a dozen wineries from Oliver and Osoyoos were on hand to share their vino.
Over the course of three events, winemakers dazzled wine lovers with not only their most popular wines, but also many very rare and select gems.
The inaugural 'Savour the Sun' event was a partnership between the Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country and Sun Peaks.
"We couldn’t be happier with the inaugural Savour the Sun wine festival, and we can’t wait for next year," said Jennifer Busmann, executive director of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country.
"We wanted to uncork the sun of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country in one of the leading mountain destinations in B.C. and the Sun Peaks Resort team came to the table with superb culinary experiences, to pair with our boutique wineries."
Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country is well known for its spring and summer events, which include the Half Corked Marathon, Festival of the Grape and Pig Out.
