Missing, foul play suspected

Kamloops RCMP suspect foul play in the case of a missing 35-year-old man.

Troy Gold was last seen at his home around 3 p.m. on Oct 1. 

The "investigation and information received by the Serious Crimes Unit indicates that foul play is a factor in the disappearance," stated Cpl. Jodie Shelkie.

"At this time, the RCMP are pursuing various investigative avenues in numerous locations around Kamloops."

RCMP are Kamloops Search and Rescue are searching the Kamloops area in hopes of finding Gold. 

On Thursday, RCMP issued a public plea asking for information on Gold. 

RCMP describe Gold as:

  •  Caucasian
  •  35 years old
  •  5’ 6”
  •  Short dirty-blond hair
  •  Facial hair – goatee
  •  Last seen wearing: black sweatpants, grey hoodie, blue & white Blue Jays hat, blue Adidas shoes.
  •  Tattoos on his knuckles “love” and “hate” and a letter “G” on each hand.
