The body of a woman in her sixties was discovered between Riverside Park and Pioneer Park in Kamloops Thursday morning.
Police aren't providing much in the way of details but did state that "criminality" was not involved.
A citizen reported seeing a woman on the ground just off the walking path around 9:30 a.m.
Kamloops RCMP have identified the woman as being from Kamloops.
The file is now with the BC Coroners Service.
