Police crash into each other

Two Kamloops police officers crashed into each other while responding to another police officer in trouble last night. 

The crash happened about 10:20 p.m.

RCMP say a police vehicle travelling northbound on 5th Avenue and a second police vehicle travelling westbound on Victoria Street collided at the intersection while responding to the call. 

Nobody else was involved.

Out of an abundance of caution, the officers involved were assessed at the hospital but later released.
