Rain closes fields

Rainy weather has caused all city fields in Kamloops to close.

Parks staff inspected the fields and felt it's necessary they be closed to prevent turf damage and for safety reasons.

Staff will take a look at the fields again on Tuesday morning and will provide further updates.

The artificial sports field at Hillside Stadium will remain open.
