If you see him, call police

The mother of a man who RCMP believe committed a murder in Lac La Biche, Alta. back in October 2017 was arrested on Saturday.

Margaret Simon, 53, was arrested and charged with accessory to murder in the homicide of Michael Mountain.

At about 4:30 a.m. on Oct. 28, 2017, police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and transported him to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

A Canada-wide warrant was issued for Lloyd Wesley Boudreau on Nov. 7, 2017 in connection with the crime. He is wanted for first degree murder, as well as evading police and disposing of physical evidence of the crime.

Police believe Simon assisted Boudreau, and she is expected to appear in Lac La Biche Provincial Court Monday.

Police have been searching Lac La Biche, St. Paul, Boyle, Camrose, Edmonton and the Kamloops area for Boudreau.

Boudreau is likely with a woman named Mandi Leigh Boucher, 25, of Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement. She was reported missing the same day Mountain’s body was found.

Police said Boudreau is 188 lbs, 5'6", with black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his neck and the right side of his face. Boucher is 150 lbs, around 5'1", with brown hair and green eyes.

Police believe Boudreau is armed and dangerous and anyone who knows his whereabouts should contact RCMP.
