Rotary Athletic Awards set

This cheque represents the proceeds from the 2019 Rotary Athletic Awards.
It is presented to the superintendent of School District 22, Joe Rogers. Joe will disburse $655 to each of the five secondary school athletic programs in School District 22 and an additional $500 to the Kalamalka Secondary Jazz Band who entertained us at the June event in Vernon.
Funds are raised for this event from the three local Rotary clubs as well as business and individual sponsors.
In addition to the five SD 22 schools, Vernon Christian School and Pleasant Valley Secondary School also participate and their athletic departments will also be receiving a cheque.
