Coffee drinkers give back

Local cafe raises thousands for the Okanagan Boys & Girls Club - one latte at a time.

When we all give a little we can make big change possible - a value that is core to Kelowna cafe, Third Space Coffee. The cafe just wrapped up a year-long fundraising campaign to benefit the Okanagan Boys & Girls Club, helping kids in the community get the care, support, human connection and help they need.

Each Thursday the cafe runs a promotion that gives back to a local charity partner. This past year all profits from any 12 or 16 oz lattes went directly to the Boys & Girls Club, raising over $2500.

"We are so honoured and humbled to get to support such an awesome organization. It has been a blast working with Richelle and her team this year" - says Carlee Turner, cafe manager.

The Gratitude Thursdays campaign is an ongoing initiative of Third Space Charity's Gratitude Project - a 30-day initiative each October in the city of Kelowna that aims to inspire gratitude and hope, highlighting the incredible, often unseen work of individuals in our community.

Beyond Gratitude Thursdays, all profits from Third Space Coffee are poured directly back into people in need in the community through Third Space Charity - a truly 100% non-profit charity bringing mental health and wholeness through counselling, professional coaching and specialized community programs.
