Save the date for Special Olympics' annual golf tournament, taking place June 5 at Kelowna Springs Golf Course. Money raised will support the efforts of local athletes. The golf tournament is its major source of funding.

Special Olympics Canada is dedicated to enriching, through sports, the lives of Canadians with intellectual disabilities. It is a not-for-profit organization that provides sport training and competition opportunities for 31,000 athletes of all ages and abilities.

In Kelowna and area, more than 200 athletes compete in 15 programs ranging from bocce and curling to soccer and skiing.
