You’ve heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday (how could you not with all of those advertisements?!) but new this year is a Canadian movement for giving and volunteering – GivingTuesday!
What is it?
Deemed the “opening day of the giving season”, GivingTuesday is all about charity and a time for charities, companies and individuals to join together to share commitments, rally for their favourite causes and think about others.
What’s the point?
After two days that are good for the economy, now we have one that’s good for the community! GivingTuesday celebrates and encourages donations and volunteering activities that support all charities and non-profit organizations.
