As you might’ve heard yesterday, its no Dick Clark on New Year’s Eve. The man whose name is practically synonymous with New Year's Eve, will sit this one out as he recovers from a minor stroke. Instead, we'll get TV morning talk show host Regis Philbin, who’s giving up a Caribbean vacation. How will he prepare? Not only is Reege going to be on the tube NY Eve, look for him this Thursday night co-hosting the final Apprentice.

MADONNA's Re-Invention tour was a critical and commercial success this past year, and now it's been named the highest-grossing tour of the year by Billboard magazine. The tour raked in 125-million bucks over 56 performances worldwide, and 55 of those performances were sellouts. PRINCE's Musicology tour was the second highest-grossing tour of the year, taking in 90.2-million dollars, and SHANIA TWAIN's tour was third, with grosses of 62.5-million bucks.
