New York's Xmas Special

The Canadian Press reports that MICHAEL BUBLÉ is the first artist announced for the annual Christmas tree lighting TV special at New York's Rockefeller Center. Bublé, who's currently working on a new album, guest-starred in the NBC drama Las Vegas last night, playing a version of himself.

ALANIS MORISSETTE will guest-star in an upcoming episode of NBC's American Dreams. She won't be portraying a real-life singer of the sixties, though -- she'll do one of her original songs. No word yet on when the episode will air.

KATEY SAGAL may have lost her TV husband, but she's got a new one in real life. The 47-year-old 8 Simple Rules star tied the knot with 42-year-old KURT SUTTER on Saturday. He's a writer for FX's The Shield.

Zap2it.com reports that JOAN LUNDEN will host a reality show that's looking for the next MARTHA STEWART. On Finding the Next Designing Diva, 12 people will compete against each other to test their skills in cooking, decorating, gardening, and other home economic skills. One will be eliminated per week until the next domestic diva is found. No production dates were given...
