Drive-By Shooter

Stand back. The two Queens of Pop - Madonna and Elton John - are going at it. Sir Elton John is apparently not a fan of Madonna. At an awards show in London yesterday, Elton John issued a blistering accusation that she lip-syncs during her concerts. But Madonna's publicist immediately denied the accusations adding “I don’t know what his problem is. I guess his tiara is on too tight”

Las Vegas police are still searching for the drive-by shooter who opened fire on the home of entertainers SIEGFRIED and ROY, but authorities have backed off from labeling the incident a "hate crime." A witness told police the shooter fired four shotgun blasts at the house from a white van on September 21st and shouted that the entertainers should get out of the country. A police spokesman said that doesn't qualify as a hate crime. No one was hurt in the drive-by shooting.

Simpson's creator MATT GROENING says the upcoming feature film of the long-running animated TV series will either ultimately make or break the show. The movie is in the early stages of development. In an interview with London's Guardian newspaper, Groening said, quote, "Everyone on the show this year seems really re-energized and we're starting to throw out ideas for the movie and I think that will either kill the show or completely reinvigorate it."
