Lionel Richie On Idol

LIONEL RICHIE once appeared on American Idol, but because he's an internationally famous artist, he's doing Canadian Idol tonight. Lionel advised the contestants on how to best perform his songs, and they'll showcase what they've learned on tonight's show. Lionel will also perform - he'll sing his latest hit, Just For You.

Are the days of Neverland finally over? MICHAEL JACKSON, who has long surrounded himself with children and toys at his Santa Barbara, Calif., estate, has decided it's time to get out. Jacko told friends that he's looking to buy a place in Miami - a state where personal property cannot be claimed in court judgments. Neverland is not currently up for sale, but Jackson is living elsewhere and paying as much as $3 million a year in upkeep to house his animals and playthings. Sources close to Jackson say the star would need to sell the ranch to finance a new home.

Looking to put some distance between her and Gigli, JENNIFER LOPEZ has apparently agreed to another TV appearance. Lopez has allegedly agreed to do a second guest spot on Will & Grace. The New York Post reports the appearance will be timed to the release of Lopez's movie Shall We Dance, which struts into theaters October 15th.

Part Survivor, part Bachelor and all parts cheesiness, the TBS reality show Outback Jack wrapped up last night with 28-year-old JACK choosing 21-year-old NATALIE over 23-year-old MARISSA.

Legendary newsman MIKE WALLACE was arrested in New York City Tuesday night after an alleged altercation with city taxi inspectors. Wallace's private car had double-parked in front of a restaurant while he went in to get take-out. When Wallace walked out of Luke's Bar and Grill, police say he began to interfere with two inspectors, allegedly lunging at one of the officers. That's when Wallace was hauled away. Witness Ernesto Cavalli says Wallace got a bad rap.
