Donald Duck Gets His Star

Mickey Mouse, Goofy and other Disney characters were on hand Monday to watch Donald Duck receive the 2,257th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Walt Disney Company CEO Michael Eisner was also there to honor Donald and said he's an icon.

Supermodel NAOMI CAMPBELL is being accused of starting a catfight with an employee that left the maid in the hospital. The housekeeper, MILLICENT BURTON, alleges that Campbell repeatedly punched and scratched her face. Campbellā€™s camp says there was a fight, but that Burton started it when she was dismissed by Campbell for refusing to work. Cops eventually showed up to the scene of the altercation, Campbell's Park Avenue apartment, and Burton eventually filed a harassment complaint against the model. The housekeeper also plans to sue.

ELTON JOHN is a huge fan of British football, which we in North America know as soccer. But next month, he'll be performing live at an event that salutes American football. It's NFL Opening Kickoff, a concert special airing on ABC-TV September 9th that marks the official start of the 2004 NFL season. The special, which will also feature performances from LENNY KRAVITZ, MARY J. BLIGE and DESTINY's CHILD, will serve as a warmup for the first game of the season between the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots.

Richard Marx is best-known for his romantic ballads, but he says that on his new CD "My Own Best Enemy," he kinda wanted to strip things down and rock out a little.
