Affleck Looking For Date

Just a few months after all but leaving fiancée JENNIFER LOPEZ standing at the altar and then rebounding with ENZA SAMBATARO, BEN AFFLECK is an eligible bachelor once again.

The actor and newly-minted political voice tells New York's Daily News the media attention got to be too much for the Boston-based TV sales executive, who got a firsthand taste of the tabloids when SpashNews dug up a restraining order that Sambataro had requested on an ex-boyfriend, whom she accused of physically assaulting her.

Affleck tells the paper he understands that being romantically linked to him can be difficult. He says, quote, "I meet people, but I feel like I'm this walking nightmare. You get photographed with me once at a baseball game, and The Enquirer will find out every dirty little thing that ever happened in your family's history. Who wants that? If I saw me, I would turn the other way."

Though he's been stumping for the Democratic Presidential ticket this week, Affleck insists he's trying to tone down his fame a bit so, quote, "someone might actually be interested in dating me."

Affleck's next film will be Surviving Christmas, about a guy with no family who decides to rent one for the holidays. It hits theaters this holiday season.
