Country legend Charlie Daniels completed work on his first novel just before his death earlier this month.
The Devil Went Down to Georgia hitmaker died on July 6 after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke and was laid to rest in Tennessee on Friday.
Now, his family members have confirmed he recently finished a novel.
In a new post on Daniels' Soap Box webpage, his son, Charlie Daniels, Jr., has assured fans the family is not going to let the novel collect dust - he is looking for an editor and a publisher.
The untitled book won't be Daniels' first attempt at writing - his memoir, Never Look at Empty Seats, was published in 2017.
Meanwhile, Daniels, Jr. has also revealed plans to release remixed and remastered music, as well as new music from his father's vault.
