Brosnan Ditches 007?

The syndicated TV series "On-Air with Ryan Seacrest" is going off the air, permanently. Seacrest was unable to turn his visibility as host of Fox's "American Idol" into success for the talk and music show, and low ratings led Twentieth Television on Tuesday to announce the end of production.

After four rounds in James Bond's shoes, Pierce Brosnan says he's, quote, "said all I've got to say" about 007. The Irish star told Entertainment Weekly quote, "The world of James Bond is a lifetime behind me." The magazine's editors interpret those statements as evidence of Brosnan's intention to quit the adventure film series, but it's possible they're just a ploy to encourage producers to up the ante in salary negotiations. That tactic has been used successfully in Bond history by Sean Connery, and Brosnan was speaking favorably about reprising the Bond role as recently as three months ago. The 51-year-old star has starred in four James Bond films: GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, and Die Another Day.

Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas are scheduled to take the witness stand today in hearings which will determine whether there's enough evidence to prosecute a woman on charges of stalking the celebrity couple. A Los Angeles Superior Court judge heard testimony on Monday, and read through more than 20 letters sent to Zeta Jones, Douglas, the actor's father, Kirk Douglas, as well as various agents, friends, and acquaintances of the couple.

On "Amish in the City," Five young adults venture out of their spiritually devout rural communities to experience life in the big city with six roommates. Some critics say the show exploits and makes fun of the Amish lifestyle. Is that criticism fair? Mose is one of the Amish participants. Click the clip below.
