Billie's Bond theme a hit

Billie Eilish's theme for the new James Bond movie No Time to Die is set to become her first U.K. number one single.

The 18-year-old is the youngest ever artist to record a 007 theme song, and has made an instant impact, with early figures from Britain's Official Charts Company showing it ahead of reigning number one, The Weeknd's Blinding Lights.

If it holds on to its lead to top Friday's rundown, it will be a rare new entry to top the charts, and only the second Bond theme to do so, after Sam Smith's theme from the previous film Spectre, Writing's on the Wall.

Billie could also receive a chart boost on Tuesday, as she is set to perform the track, also titled No Time to Die, alongside Johnny Marr, her brother and co-writer Finneas, and a Hans Zimmer-conducted orchestra at the BRIT Awards on Tuesday.

The teenage superstar's previous best position on the U.K. singles chart is two, with Bad Guy.
