Petty widow settles estate

Tom Petty's widow and his daughters have settled their bitter legal battle over the rocker's estate.

Dana York Petty and her stepdaughters, Adria and Annakim Petty, have agreed to drop their lawsuits against each other, according to documents obtained by The Blast.

The American Girl singer gave his wife authority to run his estate in his will but insisted his daughters should be allowed input.

Petty's widow claimed Adria and Annakim had lashed out at members of Tom's group, The Heartbreakers, and refused to help with the release of their dad's unreleased tracks.

In her suit against Petty's daughters, Dana alleged they were blocking the use of new solo tracks that Petty had recorded 25 years ago, which were to be released with a special box set celebrating the 25th anniversary of his album Wildflowers.

The sisters sued her for allegedly mismanaging the late rocker's businesses.
