Jane keen for Bond cameo

Jane Seymour is keen to reprise her iconic Bond Girl role in the next 007 movie.

The actress, who appeared as sexy Solitaire - opposite Roger Moore - in 1973's Live and Let Die, is pleading with the producer of the James Bond franchise, Barbara Broccoli, to bring the character back in a cameo role.

"I would absolutely go back - Barbara where are you...?" she told the panel on U.K. show Loose Women on Wednesday. "I couldn't be a Bond Girl. I'd be a Bond woman!"

The British actress is still a big fan of 007 films and she likes the way they've evolved with the times, and now offer female characters much more developed roles.

"The brilliant thing about Bond is that it's always in time with the times." she shares. "Women are playing all kind of active roles now and that's great."

The 68 year old's TV chat came just before the first trailer for Daniel Craig's final outing as James Bond in No Time To Die hit the Internet on Wednesday.

In it, the old 007 is challenged by a new superspy, played by actress Lashana Lynch.
