Hats Off Oprah

Success at the movies usually means a sequel. With the success of the sequel Spiderman 2 we can now look forward to a musical based on the franchise. The guy who wrote “The Crying Game” has been enlisted and U2’s Bono and The Edge have agreed to write the music for the show.

Hats off to Oprah. She doesn’t horde her money. The celeb has just donated a million dollars to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Centre that’s going to open next month in Cincinnati.

Rosie O’Donnell and friends set sail Sunday from New York for the Bahamas on a “gays only” cruise. Rosie says it’s the first gay cruise with family values.

Vanna White is smiling again. She’s engaged for the second time. No word on the marriage date yet.

Look out. Warner Brothers have announced that they are resurrecting the Police Academy movie series and have ordered an eighth installment of the series that kept Steve Gutenberg employed during its hey day.
