Depp Buys Island Hideaway

Johnny Depp, star of the film Pirates of the Caribbean, has bought his own treasure island in the sun. The movie star has forked out £2m for an island hideaway for his family in the Bahamas. The mile-long island, Little Halls Pond Cay, has six secluded white sand beaches and a central lagoon surrounded by exotic palm trees.

Colin Farrell has agreed to play a 14-year-old girl's lover in a controversial new film. Q'Orianka Kilcher will play Native American beauty Pocahontas opposite the Irish star's Captain John Smith in a retelling of the famous romance. The teenager had a small role in How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

The Toxic girl is believed to have employed Yifat Oren to ensure her nuptials abolish the painful memories of her impromptu marriage to Jason Alexander. Britney stunned the showbiz world when she married school friend Alexander in a rushed ceremony in Las Vegas. The marriage, which took place in January, was annulled 55 hours later. Celebrity planner Oren has been briefed to lay on the best party possible when she walks down the aisle with her second husband, dancer Kevin Federline, in November.
