Jacko - Prescriptions & Porn

Now we know why Michael Jackson's lawyers want a judge to seal the records of items that were taken from Neverland Ranch last year when the police raided the place. A source tells Fox News Online that among the things that the police took from Michael's bedroom were a large collection of DVDs and magazines. Police also found prescription pill bottles for the drug Oxycodone, but the labels on the bottles were made out in the names of Michael's employees, not in his name. The source says he likely used others' names to get unauthorized prescriptions. The source says that the porn was purchased by Michael's friends and nephews, because he couldn't go out and buy them himself. The good news, if there is any, says the source, is that all the porn was heterosexual, and did not involve children in any way.

Spider-Man 2 is shattering box office records with its remarkable first-day draw of 40.5-million dollars. It was the highest grossing first day release of all time, topping even Spider-Man, which was the previous box office champ with 39.4-million dollars. The opening day numbers for Sony's superhero sequel are especially impressive since it debuted on a Wednesday, when audiences are smaller than on weekends. The first Spider-Man opened on a Friday. In terms of ticket numbers, however, Spider-Man 2 actually sold a few hundred-thousand fewer tickets than the first movie, but earned more money due to rising admission prices.

Butcher shops and restaurants in Kelowna may want to create their best links for August 8th when Don Henley comes to town. According to the Boston Herald, Don Henley and some friends were eating at an Italian restaurant in Boston the other day before a concert, and he enjoyed the homemade sausages so much that he called the chef over and asked for the recipe - which the chef immediately handed over.
