Ozzy: reunion no fun

Ozzy Osbourne has stunned Black Sabbath fans by confessing he really didn't enjoy the band's recent reunion tour.

The heavy rocker reteamed with Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler for a world tour in 2011 and they released what was to become a final album in 2013.

The trio continued touring until February, 2017, when Ozzy and his bandmates played a farewell show in their native Birmingham, England.

Ozzy previously stated he enjoyed the reunion, but in a new interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer it appears he couldn't wait for it to end.

"I didn't have a great time," Osbourne said. "I spent nine or 10 years in Sabbath, but I'd been away from them for over 30 years. With them, I'm just a singer. With me, I get to do what I want to do. I was getting bad vibes from them for being Ozzy. I don't know, what the f**k else can I be?"

He admitted he got negative feedback for starring in hit reality TV show The Osbournes, adding, "People tell me I sold out, that it's not heavy metal, it's not cool. I don't agree. It's all entertainment. You got to be mad if you turn down that kind of dough."

Now planning his solo farewell tour, Ozzy admits he still loves seeing the old fans, who have stuck by him over the years: "The audience seems to have stayed the same," he said. "I see fathers and sons and grandsons. I got a thank-you card... from a 70-something-year-old woman saying, 'You might not believe me but I love going to your concerts with my son'. It makes you feel weird."
