Festivals Kelowna wants you.
The board is looking for some fresh blood to put their names forward for a two-year term, starting in May.
Four longstanding directors' terms are coming to an end on the 11-member board.
The non-profit society produces community-focused, arts-based festivals and programs, such as Kelowna's Canada Day celebrations, Parks Alive!, Arts on the Avenue, Pianos in Parks, the downtown buskers program, and the popular New York New Year's family celebration.
“We continue to bring fun events to the community and have a great time doing it,” says executive director Renata Mills.
Applicants must commit to attending 10 monthly meetings, as well as additional sub-committee meetings as needed.
Submit applications on the Festivals Kelowna homepage, and include a current resume sent to [email protected] by, April 3.
