Downtown Gallery

For the second year in a row, downtown Kelowna has been transformed into one big art gallery as part of the Culture Days. This year’s Downtown Gallery event runs until October 7th and has expanded to include more than 40 local artists and almost 50 downtown businesses.

The Arts Council of the Okanagan (ARTSCO) has teamed up with local businesses in Kelowna’s downtown core to transform the Cultural District into one huge, beautiful, public art gallery.

Many downtown businesses, including Kettle River Brewing, Funktional, Mosaic Books, Milkcrate Records, Parlour Ice Cream (and more) are hosting artwork in their windows for this two-week event which features diverse work from almost 40 local artists.

A unique cultural experience, the public, shoppers, tourists, and residents will encounter the streets of Kelowna in a new way, with artwork featured in the windows and on walls of many of the stores that line Bernard Avenue and beyond. Downtown Gallery will run for a full two weeks from September 23rd to October 7th.
