3 big acts at Mission Hill

Three iconic acts of the 1980s will perform at Mission Hill Family Estate's outdoor amphitheatre this summer.

The concerts include multiple Grammy Award-winner Michael Bolton on Aug. 5; Singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge on Aug. 26; and The Gipsy Kings on Aug. 28.

Tickets for the series go on sale Wednesday and are available at missionhillwinery.com or by phone at 250-762-5050.
For artists who command much larger venues, the 1,200-seat amphitheatre provides a rare treat for those eager to engage with their fans on a more intimate level.

Michael Bolton – The multiple Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and social activist has sold more than 60 million records worldwide. He’s performed with Luciano Pavarotti, BB King, and Ray Charles; written with Bob Dylan, Paul Stanley and Lady Gaga; and had songs recorded by Cher, Streisand, Kanye West and Jay Z. You may also know him as one of People’s Sexiest Men Alive, or Captain Jack Sparrow from The Lonely Island’s SNL digital video of more than 150 million views.

Melissa Etheridge – Known for her confessional lyrics and raspy, smoky vocals, the multiple Grammy Award-winning artist has been one of America’s favourite female singer-songwriters for more than two decades.

The Gipsy Kings – Melding deep-heated flamenco, rumba, salsa and pop to the tune of 20 million albums sold, the Grammy Award-winning hit-makers behind 'Bamboléo' celebrate in their own blistering tradition – taking audiences back to the south of France with flamenco guitars and booming Spanish vocals. The concert will mark the third time The Gipsy Kings have performed at Mission Hill.

Mission Hill is also offering several experiential packages for guests to enjoy an unforgettable evening of food, wine and song. Limited seating is available.
