CRIME: MISCHIEF TO WINDOWS
DATE: November 2, 2019

A fitness instructor arrived to teach a class at the Beasley Community Centre on the morning of November 2, 2019 to find two broken windows. The building was not entered; however, the window damage is estimated at approximately $1500.00. The rocks found inside the building are quite substantial in size (about 6”) and caused damage to the walls on the opposite side of the room, suggesting that the rocks were launched with either a catapult or a large slingshot. If you have information on who may have performed this senseless act, contact Lake Country RCMP or remain anonymous and contact Crime Stoppers.

CRIME: RESIDENTIAL BREAK AND ENTER

A homeowner from the Winfield Mobile Home Park located on the 700 block of Beaver Lake Road filed a report with Lake Country RCMP regarding a break and enter occurring sometime in the last week of September 2019. A collection of genuine gold and costume jewellery was taken, including some Gucci pieces, vintage brooches, gold chains, an engagement ring and a 14K white and yellow gold ring with an oval cut diamond and six round diamonds. Photos are of a couple of the more unique pieces.
