CRIME: THEFT OF SEADOO AND TRAILER
DATE: August 24, 2019
RCMP FILE: 2019-52945
The owner of a Seadoo with a double-wide trailer contacted West Kelowna RCMP on August 24th after noticing they had been stolen during the night. The theft occurred from a driveway on the 1300 block of Green Bay Road, possibly about 3 a.m. as that is when a motion sensor went off. The watercraft is a black and orange 2012 Seadoo GTR215 with VIN YDV34453C212. It was on a black 2012 Shorelander double wide Seadoo trailer with VIN 1MDKNAM10BA470063.

CRIME: SHOPLIFTING

In an ongoing effort to identify and stop shoplifters, Loss Prevention Officers from local businesses are working with the RCMP in an attempt to reduce the amount of stolen merchandise from their stores. On September 1, a Caucasian woman approximately 30 years old was observed selecting a significant amount of meat and left the store without paying (file 2019-54965). On September 3, another female was at a different store shopping with two men. The group paid for some groceries and departed, but the female was confronted about some unpaid merchandise in a backpack. The woman threw the items on the floor and departed with the men in a Jeep (File 2019-55599).
