CRIME:            ATTEMPTED BREAK AND ENTER

DATE:              July 28, 2019

RCMP FILE:    2019-45983

West Kelowna RCMP were called on Monday, July 29th when staff at Napa Auto Parts on Compass Court arrived to find a smashed front door.  Surveillance shows a dark coloured SUV, possibly a Land Rover, back up to the front door at 3:00 a.m. on July 28th and a single male attempt to gain entry.  He first smashed the glass, then kicked the metal and attempted to saw through it with a power tool.  Luckily, the only thing the would-be thief managed to do was break the front door and disable the motion sensor.
