CRIME: THEFT AND FRAUD

On June 22, 2019, a West Kelowna resident reported to police that sometime overnight his wallet was stolen out of his work truck while parked at his residence located at the 600 block of Katherine Road. The suspect then used a debit card and a company credit card, from the wallet, at various locations throughout West Kelowna and Kelowna. An unknown male was seen in video surveillance at one of the locations the cards were used at. It’s believed that this same male is a suspect in other recent fraud crimes as well.

CRIME: THEFT OF WIRE

On June 26, 2019 a business located near Highway 97 and Glenrosa Road were the victim of a theft. At approximately 2:30 a.m., while staff were on a break, an unknown dually pickup pulled up to the business and stole a large spool of industrial copper wire (similar to power line thickness). The wire is valued at $2000 - $3000. Suspects were able to get the spool into their truck by rolling it off a platform. Due to the weight and drop, the spool would have possibly damaged the truck in the cargo area.
