CRIME:           MISCHIEF TO VEHICLES

DATE:             May 2019

RCMP FILE:   2019-28522

RCMP have received several reports from Peachland residents regarding very dangerous mischief happening to local vehicles around May 14th, 2019.  Vandals loosened lug nuts on vehicles parked in the 6200 block of Whinton Crescent and the 4900 block of Princeton Avenue.  Naturally, the owners did not find out until their vehicles were driven at high rates of speed and started to shake.  Upon inspection, it was discovered that the lug nuts had either been loosened or completely taken off.  If you have any information on who may be responsible, please contact West Kelowna RCMP or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers.

CRIME:           THEFT OF CAMERA FROM VEHICLE

DATE:             May 20, 2019

RCMP FILE:   2019-28286

Sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on May 20th an unknown person stole a Canon 5D Mark III camera with a 24-104 mm lens in a black Logic case from a vehicle parked on the 1800 block of Byland Road in West Kelowna.  The camera’s serial number is 102124000328.
