CRIME:           THEFTS FROM VEHICLES

DATE:             May 14, 2019

RCMP FILE:   2019-26717 et al

At least four vehicles were entered and had items stolen sometime overnight between May 13th and 14th, 2019, in a neighborhood of Lake Country.  A couple of the car owners believed their vehicles to be locked, and luckily nothing of value was taken from three of the cars besides sunglasses and loose change.  One unlucky vehicle owner had a wallet stolen.  Streets affected by the thefts are Bond Road, Daniel Dive and Floral Road.  The RCMP would like to remind you that no matter how remote and safe you believe your location to be, thieves seem to be able to find you!  Please make sure you lock your vehicles.

If you know anything about this crime, or any other crime, call the Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers’ anonymous tips line at 1-800-222-TIPS or visit our website at www.crimestoppers.net.    Your information will be kept confidential and could lead to a reward of up to $2000.00
