CRIME: THEFT OF LIQUOR

Staff from a liquor store located on Highway 97 N in Lake Country contacted RCMP regarding the theft of over $200 worth of liquor. Video surveillance shows a female walking through the store and concealing large bottles of liquor on her person. She left the store without stopping to pay and departed with a Caucasian male who was waiting for her in an older brown or tan car. The alleged thief is a Caucasian female with dark shoulder length hair wearing a bright pink hat with a maple leaf crest.

CRIME: THEFT OF TRUCK
DATE: April 15, 2019
RCMP FILE: 2019-20197
Lake Country RCMP were called at 2:32 a.m. on April 15th when the registered owner of a vehicle heard his truck driving away from his residence on the 10,000 block of Kel Vern Crescent. The truck, a very recognizable black 2001 Dodge Ram 2500, had a very loud broken muffler, a 6’lift kit and a blue light around the rear licence plate. All keys were accounted for. RCMP members spotted the truck driving in the Lakes Subdivision but lost it as it travelled into some fields. Trails in the area were searched and a few hours later the truck was discovered caught up on a narrow ATV trail with significant damage. RCMP continue to search for the thieves.
