Unsolved crimes: Kelowna

A sport utility vehicle theft occurred during the early hours (approximately 2:00 a.m.) of Saturday March 9th on the 6000 block of Postill Lake Road. The gate to access the property was heavily damaged and it appears the individual proceeded on foot to steal the vehicle and drive it off the property. The vehicle is described as an off road 2014 Can-Am SSV Commander Max XT Sporty Utility vehicle, grey in color with VIN # 3JBKCXP14EJ000003. Currently the vehicle has snowmobile tracks instead of tires.  There is a small amount of damage to the passenger side and a green shovel and tarps are in the storage cargo area. The vehicle has an estimated value of $31,000. If you have any information regarding this theft please contact Crime Stoppers or the Kelowna RCMP.

On March 3, 2019 at 4:00 pm a male suspect entered Princess Auto on Spall Road and wheeled out a welder without paying. The welder is described as a “Pro Point 250A Heavy Duty Multi-Process Welder valued at $2,500. Only the welder was taken, none of the accessories that accompanied it.  The thief is described as a male, heavy-set, wearing a white and grey full zip hoodie, dark-coloured pants, dark shoes and a baseball cap with a circular insignia.  If you have any information regarding the theft please contact Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers or the Kelowna RCMP.
