CRIME: THEFT OF TOOTHBRUSHES
DATE: November 18, 2018

The Loss Prevention Officer from London Drugs located on Highway 97 N contacted Kelowna RCMP on November 18th at approximately 4:30 p.m. when a male was reported to be stealing multiple items from the store. The man allegedly selected some electric toothbrushes from the shelves, opened the packages with a knife and concealed the contents on his person. He walked past the cashiers without paying for the Philips Sonicare 9700 DiamondClean toothbrush valued at $350 and a black Philips Sonicare 6100 toothbrush valued at $150. He then entered a waiting grey Chevrolet Cavalier with a female and a driver before leaving the area.

CRIME: THEFT OF CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT

There has been an upward trend in thefts from construction sites in the Okanagan Valley. A construction site on the 300 block of Drysdale Boulevard had a generator belonging to Winn Rentals stolen sometime overnight between November 13th and 14th. The generator is a red and black Honda EU7000IS with s/n EEJD1127538 with Winn Rental #117 stickers attached. The generator is valued at $5500.00.
On November 21st a dump trailer was reported stolen from an unlocked compound on the 900 block of Alsgard Street just off McCurdy Road. It is a black 2015 Nova ST82 dump trailer with BC plate number 77943D and VIN 5JW1D1221F2103254.
