CRIME:           BREAK AND ENTER TO SHED

DATE:             September 16, 2018

RCMP FILE:   2018-57770

On September 16th a shed at a home on the 1900 block of Lindahl Street was pried open during the early morning hours.  Suspect(s) left with some tools, an air compressor and four very distinctive hard hats that have sentimental value.  The hats, made in the 60’s, are steel/aluminum and engraved with Indonesian designs.  One of the hats has “Max” on the front and another says “Betty”.  The air compressor is a TNT 2 gallon model TT11021.

CRIME:            SHOPLIFTING IN A STOLEN CAR

DATE:              September 18, 2018

RCMP FILE:    2018-58339

An employee of an electronics store in Kelowna contacted Kelowna RCMP at approximately 2:30 p.m. on September 18th to report a theft.  Two suspects, described as a thin Caucasian male and a larger Aboriginal female, had just fled the store with two Dyson vacuum cleaners.  The two got into a black 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe, with a driver waiting behind the wheel.  The Sante Fe had been reported stolen the day before from West Kelowna.
