CRIME: THEFT OF SURVEY DEVICE

A guest staying at the Holiday Inn located on Powick Road in Kelowna heard a smashing sound around 10:00 p.m. on September 18th. He looked out the window facing the well-lit rear parking lot to see a BMX bike-riding male leaving the area carrying a yellow case. The driver side window of a truck had been smashed and a $20,000 piece of survey equipment had been stolen. The bright yellow case is holding an ICON ICR55 Robotic Total Station land survey robot with serial number 245673. The male on the BMX bike was wearing dark clothing and had a blonde ponytail.

CRIME: OFFICE BREAK AND ENTER

Kelowna RCMP received a complaint on August 22nd of a break and enter at an office building located on the 1600 block of Ellis Street. An office had been broken into sometime between 4:20 and 5:30 p.m. The drawers in the office had been rifled through and some cash was taken. A review of surveillance video has the RCMP looking to identify this person of interest.
