CRIME:           THEFT OF FERRARI

DATE:             September 1, 2018

RCMP FILE:   2018-54225

A resident of Fisher Road in Kelowna contacted RCMP on September 1st when it was discovered his Ferrari had been stolen during the early hours of the morning.  Thieves broke into the house, found the keys and left with the vehicle that had been under wraps in the carport.  The car is a red 1996 F355 Ferrari with VIN ZFFXR48A9T0105537 and BC plate number CW650X.

CRIME:            THEFT OF TRUCK

DATE:              August 30, 2018

RCMP FILE:    2018-53758

Thieves hit the Mission area of Kelowna on the night of August 30th between 8:00 p.m. and 11:45 p.m.  A grey Toyota Tundra parked in the driveway of a home on the 700 block of South Crest Drive was entered and rummaged through, with the thieves stealing a garage door opener and a radio.  The suspects then moved on to a locked truck parked in front of the home and left with it.  The missing truck is a grey 2010 Toyota Tacoma with VIN 3TMMU4FN3AM020208 and BC plate number LE3247.  A couple of unique fishing items were in the truck – an RL Winston rod and a set of Waterworks Lamson Liquid reels.
