CRIME:           THEFT OF TRAILER FROM COMPOUND

DATE:             July 8, 2018

RCMP FILE:   2018-39070

The owner of a business with a compound on the 1200 block of Stevens Road in West Kelowna contacted the RCMP on the morning of July 8th when he noticed the compound gate open and a trailer missing from the yard.  The silver 14’ Continental box trailer has a ramp style door and was empty except for a spare tire.  The trailer’s VIN is 5NHUVH423HF706060 and had BC licence plate number 27917U.

CRIME:            THEFT OF E-TRIKE  

DATE:              July 7, 2018

RCMP FILE:    2018-38907

A bicycle shop located on the 3000 block of Louie Drive in West Kelowna had one of the outside display bikes stolen between 2:30 and 4:30 pm on July 7th.  The bike is a champagne coloured folding EVO Latitude AL 1 electric assist adult tricycle.  The trike has a front hub motor, heavy duty frame, 24” wheels, rear basket (with battery in it) and dual mirrors.
